Position: Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse
Location: Round Rock, TX
Job Description:
As a Medical/Surgical RN at Relig Global, you will play a crucial role in assessing, evaluating, planning, implementing, and coordinating a treatment plan in collaboration with patients, their families, and the healthcare team. This position holds the key responsibility for ensuring positive patient and departmental outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain overall accountability for assigned patients
- Manage efficient flow of patient care, including screening, exam preparation, providing general nursing care, and coordinating admissions, testing, and discharges
- Maintain and review patients’ records, including posting test and examination results
- Administer medications by physician orders
- Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment plans
- Respond to and refer incoming telephone calls, including phone triage when needed
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing; Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher required
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice, or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care experience
